Description
The Bachelor of Social Science program encompasses several disciplines including Criminology, Psychology, Counselling and Behaviour Management. This program allows you to combine subjects from these areas and from other areas to complete a degree titled to reflect your specialisations in the social sciences, e.g. Bachelor of Social Science (Criminology).

Professional Outcomes
This program gives you the skills and knowledge to work in areas such as welfare, government departments, disability services, casework, client support and advocacy, as well as working with children with behavioural difficulties in educational settings. If you choose a behavioural management focus, you will learn how to implement functional analytical therapy for clients with severe behavioural difficulties. If you choose criminology combined with behaviour management, you will gain the ability to understand atypical behaviour patterns. If you combine your studies with psychology subjects, you will be able to develop effective needs-based treatment programs.
