School of Health Sciences Honours Program
Duration: 1 Year
The School of Health Sciences Honours program is a 90 credit point supervised, one-year program of independent research and study culminating in the production of a research thesis and presentation of a research seminar. Students undertake a program of course-work and research in which they conceptualise, plan, organise, undertake and report on an independent research project, whilst being supervised by a member of the academic staff.
The Honours program provides a pathway to postgraduate study, typically at the PhD level. Graduates will also be well placed to seek employment as research assistants or pharmaceutical representatives.
