The School of Business is Australia’s first and most dynamic private business school. The faculty provides a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in accounting, business economics, entrepreneurship, finance, management, electronic commerce and business administration.

Position and Qualifications.  The Global Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Family Business Department in the School of Business invite applications from qualified candidates interested in joining our growing team of scholars committed to research and teaching excellence. 

With a preferred commencement of January 2009, we are seeking to appoint a scholar with a PhD in Entrepreneurship (or a very closely related field) at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants are required to demonstrate evidence of:

    • a strong track record and excellence in teaching in several areas within Entrepreneurship at the undergraduate and graduate level;
    • an established or emerging research record in Entrepreneurship that includes publication in leading academic journals;
    • a demonstrated interest in family business research;
    • practical hands-on experience of new venture planning, high growth ventures, and/or corporate entrepreneurship and family businesses;
    • ability to impart appropriate practical knowledge and skills to undergraduate and graduate students.

    This appointment will be offered on a continuing basis. Salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience, and be fully competitive in the Australian market.  Salary packaging options are available.
