Full-time, continuing appointment

This position presents exciting opportunities for a librarian who is innovative, technologically literate and interested in exploring new options for providing library and information services in health sciences and medicine.

This librarian will work closely with students, faculty, researchers, and administrators in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine to promote information services and resources in support of teaching learning and research.

The successful candidate will also work closely with the Liaison Librarian/Trial Search Coordinator who is a member of the Cochrane Acute Respiratory Infections Group based at Bond University. This Cochrane Review Group forms part of the prestigious Cochrane Collaboration which is an international, non-profit, independent organisation, established to ensure that up-to-date, accurate information about the effects of healthcare interventions is readily available worldwide.

Applicants should possess high level interpersonal and communication skills with experience in providing quality customer service preferably in a university or research environment. Initiative, adaptability and responsiveness to change are essential attributes. 

The successful candidate will be a dedicated librarian committed to continued professional growth.

Salary:  $48,484 – 56,207pa plus superannuation.
