Located on Bond University’s classically designed campus on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Bond College is fully integrated with the university’s educational structure and lifestyle.

All of our programs have been designed with a concentrated emphasis on intellectual development, academic processes and clear thinking, which we believe provides a good introduction to University study.

As members of the university community, Bond College students also enjoy access to Bond’s libraries, IT resources and research facilities, as well as student support services, recreational facilities and accommodation.

Other key benefits include:

Choice of starting dates

Bond College has intakes in January, May and September each year, in line with university intakes allowing for easy progressesion from the College to the University.

Personalised Teaching Environment

In line with the university’s trademark personalised approach, Bond College students study in small class groups with teachers who know you by name and have an open-door policy to assist individual students with specific problems or challenges.

Adjusting to the Australian Style of Learning

The Bond College program gives students the chance to adjust to the more interactive, discussion-based style of learning practiced in Australian universities. Students are eased into the University mode of instruction so they become accustomed to the University environment when they start their degree studies.  Academic and intellectual skills like information literacy, clear thinking, reasoning, time management, assignment writing, referencing and paraphrasing, and studying at an Australian university, are built into the programs.

Student Mentoring

Our mentoring programs are designed to help students in the new environment, to grow and to flourish in the exciting world of learning.  Students receive feedback on their academic progress in weeks 4, 7 and 8 of semester, in addition to written feedback on assessments. Academic skills sessions and one-on-one help is available if students require extra assistance. Weekly attendance monitoring and regular welfare checks ensure students are integrating into university life in Australia.

Student Support

In addition to the assistance available from teaching staff, Bond College students have access to the University’s counselling services, medical clinic and international student services team. Students also have access to the Bond College's Student Learning Advisor who offers one-on-one assistance as well as small group workshops.  We also offer a safe and relaxed environment, with campus security patrols 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

English Language Support

International students have full access to all the English language teaching facilities available within the College, which offers assistance with skills in preparation for university study.
