The rapid increase of cyber crimes across Australia and constant changes in technology make this an alarming issue facing students, families, schools and the community. Bond University is providing a platform for the community to explore these issues and has created the Cyber Bullying Symposium. This event will bring together a panel of academic experts in the fields of technology, psychology and law, and will feature a short case study on the Bond University and Varsity College anti bullying campaign – ‘One Goal, One Community: Moving Beyond Bullying and Empowering for Life’.
Who should attend this event?
- School: Principals, Teachers (Professional Learning recognition is available^),Senior Student leaders, P&C groups, Guidance Counsellors and parents.
- Community: Youth Groups, Council members, Police and Qld Health workers.
- Experts: Counsellors and Child Psychologists.

Professional Recognition for Teachers
This symposium offers participants who are teachers in Queensland schools to address the following Professional Standards as required for registration renewal under the Queensland College of Teachers Continuing Professional Development Framework:
