Family Business Australia 2011 Research & Education Symposium

Family Business: A Rich Research Repository
The FBA Research & Education Symposium is an annual one-day dynamic learning forum designed to bring together international scholars and
educators to interact with each other and the family business community to better understand what is already known, and identify what still needs to be
known.

Family enterprises dominate the commercial landscape in all economies. Interest into the unique challenges facing this business sector is growing.
This burgeoning interest by researchers and educators is beginning to inform and influence policy makers at all levels of government, as well as instructors in classrooms at all education levels, in all corners of the globe. But much remains to be learned.

Papers / Abstracts
Family Business Australia invites you to participate in the 2011 Australian Family Business Research & Education Symposium by submitting an abstract
or paper for consideration. Abstracts and papers will be double blind reviewed and presented in discussion groups to an audience of academics, professional advisers and business owners.

Submissions are invited from researchers, educators and doctoral students from all academic disciplines. Submissions addressing a wide variety of
related topic areas are encouraged. Presenters should submit a 300 word abstract outlining the topic and the relevant issues.

Program format

The symposium will include a keynote address from a prominent family business researcher and round table discussions of papers and abstracts will
be facilitated by leading family business scholars.
Note: all costs to attend the symposium must be met by the presenters.
