Bond Investment Group presents Mr John Hempton for the final 2011 event in their BIG Speaker Series.  

John Hempton is the Chief Investment Officer of Bronte Capital, an Australian and USA licensed global fund manager. Based in Sydney, Bronte Capital has approximately $750 million of assets under management. Mr Hempton, previously a partner of Australian-based global fund manager Platinum Asset Management, has extensive experience in global markets as the former chief analyst for financial stocks. Bronte Capital specialises in global equity, debt and derivative markets.

Drawing upon his notoriety and experiences as a famed short-seller, Mr Hempton will be speaking to attendees on how he analyses companies, and how he separates the good companies from the bad. Widely respected, Mr Hempton is frequently cited by the Wall Street Journal and has been described as one of "Wall Street’s Digital Underground" by the New York Magazine.
