This documentary is one filmmaker's journey into the cultural underground of the Gold Coast, exploring the issues that have formed the stereotypes and discovering a much deeper side to the coast beyond the Glitter Strip.
Jeff Licence follows the journeys of 13 creative Gold Coasters working in art, culture, community and sustainability to see how the Gold Coast is 'kicking off the white shoes' and finding its feet as a city.
Featuring a soundtrack showcasing local musicians and insightful interviews with: Tim Baker,Sally MacKinnon, Chris Walton, Marea Ryan, Mariam Arcilla, Emma Milikins, Solua Middleton, Meredith Elton, Shanene Ditton, Virginia Rigney, Jack Lennon, Dominic Farnworth and Nadia Sunde.
