Bond University academic publishes family business book

23 September 2011

Bond’s reputation in the family business space continues to grow with a new book released by Australian Centre for Family Business Co-Director Dr Justin Craig.

The book, entitled Family enterprise in the Asia Pacific: Exploring Transgenerational Entrepreneurship in Family Firms, has been edited by Dr Craig along with his colleagues Kevin Au and K. Ramachandran.

The book analyses the findings reported in the first Asia Pacific summit of the Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices project. Researchers in Australia, China, and India discussed eleven in-depth case studies to shed light on the challenges that business families and family businesses faced in continuing and extending their entrepreneurial capabilities across multiple generations.

This is the newest addition to the books published by academics in the Australian Centre for Family Business. The centre is made up of leading experts in the field and is Bond University’s longest established research centre. It boasts an international reputation and research generated from the centre assists in forming our teaching in the family business field.
