"With several generations of my own family’s business as a background, and now the co-director of my own, the achievement of completing the EMBA is a triumphant milestone. The EMBA provided academic theory to enhance the practical and common sense decisions that I make for our business, and the executive skill set for professional development and corporate interaction. We have grown profitably thanks to the knowledge the EMBA has provided.

The Family Business segment of the EMBA was a remarkable experience. It provided real clarity and practical solutions to managing our family business and gave the opportunity to network with others in similar circumstances. Operations can be influenced, positively and negatively, by the balance of family within the business. Therefore, by studying the research into improving interaction of the family, we have been able to create more effective relationships and professionalise our family business extensively.

From a personal perspective, I have developed insights that have improved my abilities as a leader, manager, business owner, family member and as a member of the broader community. The skills I have developed through the EMBA Family Business have strengthened my resilience and ability to bring my ambitions to life."
