Bond University’s international recognition in the field of finance continues to grow after Professor Mohamed Ariff was awarded best paper at the 19th Annual Global Finance Conference.
Professor Ariff’s paper was titled “Money Supply, Interest Rate, Liquidity and Share Prices: A Test of Their Linkage” and received the honour above numerous papers from academics around the world. His paper reported new evidence of a liquidity effect on share prices from money supply changes.
The conference, which was held at DePaul University Chicago, USA, brought together some of the top finance academics, practitioners and policy makers to discuss key issues in financial management.
Professor Ariff was also invited to share his expertise at the conference by presenting on ethics and finance.
