What is entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship is the process of building something from nothing. It is the process of seizing or creating an opportunity without regard to the resources you control.

Why study entrepreneurship at Bond?

While entrepreneurship concepts at Bond are framed in rigorous theory and frameworks, there is a deliberate integration of theory and practice. Students are exposed to effectual reasoning, which is a way of understanding how entrepreneurs think and behave. They are then able to see how these effectual principles play out in four contexts: start-ups, corporate entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and transgenerational entrepreneurship. The brief is to ‘create the future’.

Our key staff

These are delivered by instructors who not only understand the importance of research and theory, but are also experienced entrepreneurs and practitioners. Assistant Professor Baden U’Ren
