Sports Lecture Series - Strength and Conditioning

Bond University’s Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine is proud to announce the inaugural Sports Lecture Series. The event is free and open to the public and will be the first time three Australian football codes will come together to discuss high performance sport at Bond.

Principles of Strength and Conditioning for Sports Performance

Gain in-depth information about the specialised field of strength and conditioning. Learn about behavioural and cognitive sciences and applied sports sciences such as biomechanics, anatomy, physiology and biochemistry and advanced study of the principles of high performance sciences that incorporate athlete monitoring and emerging technology in sports.

  • Dr Chris McLellan - Assistant Professor of Sports Science at Bond University. Director of High Performance and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Jetstar Titans.
  • Damian Marsh - Head Performance Coach for the St. George Reds.
  • Dean Robinson - High Performance Coach of Essendon Football Club
