School of Medicine

Welcome to Bond University’s School of Medicine.

The School of Medicine is dedicated to not only developing individual’s clinical capabilities and knowledge of medicine, but also fostering a sense of ethics, humanity, and a passion for caring for others. The Head of School, Professor Peter Jones has an extensive background in strategic and operational leadership in the fields of research, program development and engagement with the wider clinical community.

Bond University’s Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery Degree (MBBS) qualifies students to register as a medical practitioner and provides the information and skill sets needed to be an effective member of any professional medical environment. Those graduating with a MBBS Degree are fully prepared to pursue further medical training at any number of specialty institutions.

The School of Medicine is a case-based program accredited by the Australian Medical Council. The course challenges students to partake in cases involving a wide array of symptoms and possible diagnoses. This approach emulates real-life scenarios, exposing students to extensive clinical work coupled with patient interaction.

Real-life situations, together with small class sizes and cutting edge technological resources enable Bond medical students to achieve excellence in their chosen field of study.
