Message From the Head of PsychologyThe Psychology Department at Bond University has developed itself as a centre of excellence in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research. We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate study options, all of which are accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). This means that students who undertake their education at Bond can be professionally qualified up to and including Doctoral level. The range of subjects and programs we offer allow students to undertake training in specialist areas or to study a few psychology subjects as part of another degree. Our academic staff are known for their expertise and enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and our small class sizes and interactive teaching methods enable students to optimise their learning because they receive a high level of personal tuition and support. Our psychology academics are also recognised nationally and internationally for research. Our research activities cover a range of areas including clinical, forensic and organisational psychology, personality, addiction, social psychology, developmental psychology, health psychology, learning, and human cognition. Bond enables you to complete a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology) in just two years, the Honours or Postgraduate Diploma in eight months. Also an Undergraduate bridging program can also be completed in eight months. Intakes occur in January, May or September for most degrees.
