The Bond University Film and Television Awards (BUFTA) is a short film competition open to any year 11 or 12 secondary school student in Australia. Students are encouraged to enter short films made as part of school assessments or as independent projects.  The Best Overall Filmmaker will receive a full tuition scholarship to Bond University, to study a Bachelor of Film and Television at the Centre for Film, Television and Screen-based Media.
