Mindfulness

The seminar will be addressed by Heng Chih of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on the background of the concepts in Buddhist philosophy, and by Mr Alan Chan, Patron of the Centre, who will speak on the Confucian background. We look forward to participation by a wide cross-section of staff. Psychology staff will be represented and following the discussion we will have an opportunity to discuss how seminars in this area may be pursued, given the ideological differences between the disciplines.

This occasion will provide an opportunity to honour Mr Alan Chan, who has generously supported the Centre.
