Bond University welcomes Year 11 and Year 12 students to spend a day on campus learning about careers in Journalism. Students will have the opportunity to engage in interactive journalistic activities, hear from guest speakers and experience life on campus. There will be three J Day Events in 2012 – February 7th, 14th and 21st.

| 9:45 – 10:15am | Journalism as a Career Presented By a Journalism Academic. |
| 10:15 – 10:45am | Guest Speaker from the Gold Coast Bulletin |
| 10:45 – 11:00am | Morning Tea (students to bring their own) |
| 11:00am – 1pm | Television Studio Experience |
| 1pm – 1:30pm | Lunch in the Television Studio Precinct (complimentary) |
| 1:30 – 2:45pm | Backpack Journalism Interactive Activity |
| 2:45pm | Feedback session and Certificate Distribution |
| 3:00pm | Conclusion. |
| | *Students are requested to find their own mode of transportation to and from the University. |

Cost
J Day is a complimentary event and is limited to 18 students in total each day, therefore we encourage students register early to avoid disappointment. Please note that each school is limited to 4 places only, on any one day.
