3D The Animation Process - Pirate PeteThe assignment objective was to conceptualise, design and development a 60 second animation of a humanoid character within a complementary scene. The character model and scene was to remain under 20,000 polygons and illustrate the students skills in animated walk cycles, UV mapping, garment construction and physics that complement the character model. The excellent design document and completed animation movie showcased here was created by Danielle Bailey. The design document highlights her character design and background including the character development from simple geometric primitives, the texturing process and illustrated storyboards highlighting the major scene frames.
