Gannon, DPhil, CPsychol (Forensic) is Director of the Centre for Research and Education in Forensic Psychology (CORE-FP) and Reader in Forensic Psychology at the University of Kent, UK. Theresa also works as a Chartered Consultant Forensic Psychologist specialising in sexual offenders and firesetters for Kent Forensic Psychiatry Services, UK. Theresa has published numerous chapters, articles, books, and other scholarly works in the areas of male and female-perpetrated sexual offending and firesetting. She is particularly interested in research relating to both the treatment needs and overall rehabilitation of sexual offenders. Theresa is lead editor of several books including Aggressive Offenders’ Cognition: Theory, Research, and Treatment (John Wiley & Sons) along with Professor Tony Ward, Professor Anthony Beech, and Dr Dawn Fisher, and Female Sexual Offenders: Theory, Assessment and Treatment (Wiley-Blackwell) along with Franca Cortoni. Theresa serves on the editorial boards of Aggression and Violent Behavior, British Journal of Forensic Practice, International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology, Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research and Treatment and is Associate Editor of Journal of Sexual Aggression. Dr Troy McEwen, BA(Hons), DPsych(Clin), MAPSAustralian Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Clinical/Forensic Psychologist Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science Monash University and the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health Dr Troy McEwan is a registered clinical and forensic psychologist. She is currently employed by the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health and Monash University where she holds an Australian Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science. Dr McEwan is a leading international researcher in the area of stalking, is co-author of a clinical risk assessment manual for the assessment of stalkers, and has made invited contributions on this topic. Her other research areas are deliberate firesetting, family violence, threat assessment, and mental health advanced care directives. In 2011 she co-edited a special issue of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law on arson, calling for more funding for evidence-based practice with deliberate firesetters in Australia. In addition to her research activities, she teaches in the Masters in Health Science at Monash University, and contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She also conducts risk assessment training for mental health, law enforcement and other professionals both in Australia and internationally. She is the current president of the Australian Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (Victoria), and a member of the Clinical and Forensic Colleges of the Australian Psychological Society. Sarah Miller, BSc, MSc, AFBPsSHonorary lecturer, Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland Health Professions Council (HPC) registered Forensic Psychologist, UK Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), UK Specialist Operations Centre (Police), Expert Advisor, UK Specialist member of the Parole Board for England & Wales Sarah Miller is a UK based Health Professions Council (HPC) registered Forensic Psychologist and an Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) approved Offender Profiler and Interview Advisor. She is also an advisor to the Scottish Risk Management Authority and a specialist psychologist member of the UK Parole Board. Both of these roles centre on giving advice and making decisions about offender risk assessment and risk management. She has thirteen years experience in the assessment and treatment of offenders and has conducted and published research within this domain. Clinton Schultz, BA (Hons) PsychLecturer, Griffith University Psychologist Clinton Schultz is a Kamilaroi man and a registered psychologist, he is currently employed by Griffith University School of Public Health as Lecturer of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health. Clinton is the director of Marumali Consultations, which provides cultural competence auditing and training, cross cultural psychological and business management services and Aboriginal focused mentoring and supervision. He is the author and facilitator of “Forming Culturally Responsive Practice”, a Royal Australian College of General Practitioner’s accredited cultural competence training package and a lead facilitator of the Australian Indigenous Psychologists Association’s Cultural competence training for mental health practitioners. Clinton’s areas of research include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social and emotional well being, institutional racism, and cultural education in tertiary settings. Clinton is currently undertaking his PhD with Griffith University.
