Court Discovery Day

Bond University would like to invite you to the Faculty of Law Court Discovery Day on Friday, 18 May 2012.

We have designed this program to provide high school students with an insight into the workings of the Australian Legal System whilst offering exposure to a courtroom environment and legal proceedings.

The three hour program will consist of:

• An overview of the Australian Legal System and courtroom protocols
• A criminal mock trial – prosecution, defence, witness examination and verdict
• Refreshments with academics and current law students
• A tour of the Law faculty and students will also receive a certificate of attendance

The program will be held in two sessions, a morning session running from 9.00 am - 12.00 pm, and an afternoon session running from 12.00 pm - 3.00 pm.

Due to courtroom capacity constraints, there are a limited number of seats available for each session.

To register an expressoin of interest for your school, please complete the online registration below.  Please note you will need to add your preferred session time under the “Program Interest Area” in the registration form. Please also add an estimate of the number of students will attend.  (A full list of the students names and details can be emailed at a later date if we can accommodate your request).
