Bond University Faculty of Law conducts an annual High School Mooting Competition involving Year 11 and 12 students from secondary schools around Australia. The competition has expanded from eight schools in its inaugural year of 1989 to current numbers of well over 135 schools. It is the only national competition of its type. From 108 schools who competed in the regional rounds of the competition in early May of this year, 14 schools secured a place in the grand final which will be held at Bond University on Saturday, 21 July 2012.
