| 1994-2005 | Worked continuously as a solicitor in private practice and for various Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations in the area of native title |
| 2005 | Joined the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service, working in the area of criminal law |
2007- 2010 | Transferred to the Queensland Indigenous Family Violence Legal Service to focus on family law, child protection, victims of crime and domestic violence. Her role involves following the Magistrates Court Circuit to remote communities around the Gulf and Greater North West Region, assisting those with the greatest need |
