Eco Cook-Off Challenge

The purpose of Green Week is to unite communities, organisations, and businesses that share an environmental focus and promote sustainability. Green Week is an event promoted by Gecko, who are a Gold Coast based non-government, not for profit environmental group.

Bond University, Mirvac School of Sustainable Development is sending out a culinary challenge to 5 Gold Coast secondary schools!

At this FREE event, each school is given their own BBQ and a selection of sustainable local produce to create their unique grilled gourmet masterpiece. These mouth-watering creations will be judged by local foodies with the winning school taking away an African village food sponsorship plus more!

ALSO ON THE NIGHT…

  • Meet the School’s environmental lecturers and current Bond students to learn more about ecological career options
  • Taste locally produced sustainable food and talk directly with the suppliers
  • Guided tours, on request, of the eco 6 Star Green Star award-winning Mirvac School of Sustainable Development building
  • Jaran Aboriginal Dance Troupe performance and workshop
  • Prizes to be won
  • FREE canapés and refreshments provided

All Gold Coast students, parents and teachers interested in environmental university studies welcome!
