Study at Bond University
Fees
Bond University is Australia’s first private, not-for-profit university. While our places are not subsidized by the government and full tuition fees are charged semesterly on a subject-by-subject basis, cash flow relief is available through government assistance packages such as FEE-HELP and other lending options.
As opposed to Government funded institutions, our students are not required to pay HECS, student union or guild fees. Additionally, as a not-for-profit organisation, 100% of your tuition fees are re-invested in your education, enabling us to provide world-class campus facilities, state-of-the-art learning resources and, most importantly, smaller classes that give you one-on-one access to Australia’s leading academics and corporate achievers.
When considering the fees and costs associated with your tertiary education, you will need to budget for the following:
Tuition fees
Tuition fees vary depending on your choice of degree.
For all coursework degrees, the tuition fee is charged on a per subject basis. At Bond University all students studying a subject pay the same fees, regardless of nationality or residence status.
Fees must be paid at the start of each semester.
Check the Bond University Fee Structure (PDF 1MB) for costs regarding your specific program of study.
Books and study materials
The costs for books, stationery, software and other resources tend to be the same at most universities – allow around $300 per semester. (To help off-set these costs, you can sell your old textbooks and buy second-hand at the Bond Book Sale held during O-Week before the start of each semester.)
Student Activities Fee
This voluntary fee provides students with free access to all of our sporting facilities and clubs and is currently $88 per semester.
Accommodation
If you are not living with friends or family, you will need to budget for on-campus or off-campus accommodation. Check the Accommodation Fees Schedule for costs pertaining to on-campus residences and information regarding off-campus arrangements.
A weekly cleaning and linen service is included with on-campus accommodation.
Living allowance
A choice of meal packages are available with on-campus accommodation – Accommodation Fees Schedule. Other costs that should be considered include personal items, social outings, transportation and miscellaneous living costs.
Parking fees
There is no charge for parking at Bond University.
