Study in Australia

Bond University is Australia’s first private, not-for-profit University, offering a personalised academic environment that enables graduates to exceed the outer limits of their potential.

With access to unparalleled academic and technological resources on Bond’s world-class Gold Coast campus, students thrive in smaller study groups where eminent professors and industry experienced lecturers know them by name.

By undertaking three-semesters-per-year instead of the usual two, graduates fast track their study and finish a 3 semester Masters degree in 1 year or a 6 semester Bachelors degree in 2 years. Combine this advantage with Bond’s commitment to opening doors to blue chip employers and it becomes clear that students graduate with a clear competitive advantage over their public university peers.

Students from the Indian subcontinent comprise an important part of the student community at Bond.  Bond has over 250 alumni in India, including some highly notable alumni such as Mr Vijay Patil, Chancellor of DY Patil University Navi Mumbai, and Nakul Anand, Chief Executive of ITC Hotels, India.

Bond University offers a unique opportunity to combine the highest possible quality education with an unforgettable travel experience that will shape the rest of your life.

Courses Available

Bachelor qualifications are available in an extensive range of disciplines in all Faculties. They generally comprise 24 subjects and can be completed at Bond in two years of full-time study, although some Law and Medical / Health Sciences programs are longer.

Combined degree courses (double degrees) offer opportunities for more focused or flexible career preparation and are an excellent option in light of Bond's three-semesters-a-year schedule which means that you can graduate with a double degree in the time that students from other universities complete a single degree. Students can combine any two degrees from one faculty or from different faculties (except Medicine) and the flexibility of our programs gives you the scope to develop a combined degree to suit your own interests and career goals.

For graduate studies, there are a number of opportunities for students at Bond. We offer Graduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma programs that entail one or two semesters’ coursework and, in most cases, these can be credited towards further study in a Master's level program.

Master Degrees including MBA Courses

Master degrees are available in a wide range of disciplines in all faculties and schools. They generally comprise 12 subjects (1 year full-time). Bond also offers 2 year Masters (Professional) degrees which allow students to add on a work integrated learning component on completion of their 12 subjects for the Masters degrees. These programs are of 96 weeks duration.

Study discipline areas include:

  • Applied Linguistics
  • Business, Commerce and Information Technology
  • Communication & Media Studies
  • Criminology and Forensics
  • Health Sciences and Medicine
  • Hotel Resort and Tourism Management
  • Humanities, Languages and International Studies
  • Law
  • Property and Sustainable Development
  • Psychology, Counselling and Behaviour Management

Entry Requirements

Bond’s entry criteria are based on more than just final Grade 12 or undergraduate academic results, emphasising extracurricular involvement and personal attributes, such as outstanding leadership and community involvement qualities.

Admission decisions are made on an overall assessment of the application, however, prior academic performance is the primary consideration.
There are no fixed deadlines for admission applications. We make our decisions on a 'rolling' basis, issuing offers to qualified applicants until all available spaces have been filled. You can apply up to one year in advance.

Bond University Scholarships

Bond University offers a wide range of scholarships ranging from 10% up to 40% and welcomes scholarship applications from prospective students with outstanding academic achievements.
