Message from the Head of School

The Information Technology sector has undergone a significant transformation in recent years. The dot.com boom-and-bust of the late 1990's built on technology for the sake of technology has been superseded by maturing IT-producing and consuming sectors where information and communication systems are now fully integrated into real business processes in every industry.

As a result, there is now an increasing demand for IT graduates who are not only fully versed in current and emerging technologies but who also have an in-depth understanding of advanced business processes and effective application of IT in organisations.

In line with this industry shift, Bond University has merged the School of Information Technology with our world-renowned Faculty of Business to offer a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees that deliver the vital combination of IT and business knowledge and skills required by today's global employers.

Designed by the Faculty's PhD-qualified academics and industry-experienced consultants, our programs offer a multi-dimensional focus, placing balanced emphasis on technological skills, problem solving, project and IT management, communication and most importantly, client relationships.
