  • Information Skills:

    Teach your students information skills including hands-on training in information search strategies and tools.

    The Library aims to enhance lifelong learning and contribute to the development of a 'Unique Bond Graduate' through teaching information literacy concepts and hands-on training in information search strategies and tools.

    Teach your students information skills including hands-on training in information search strategies and tools.

    Liaison Librarians can provide:

    • hands-on training in information search strategies and tools
    • course-integrated, subject-specific instruction based on desired outcomes
    • subject/course/resource specific workshops and 'Library Update' seminars for staff and students

    The Library will assist in designing assessment that gauges information literacy and will work with course development teams to embed information literacy in to the curriculum.

Tools 

  • Online subject guides: Subject guides are developed on request by library staff with a view to providing support for courses and assisting library users to find and evaluate books, journals and websites. They also assist in the use of databases and other aspects of research.
