Computers

Computer workstations are located on all levels of the Main and John &Alison Kearney Law Library. Bond University students and staff with network accounts can access:

  • Library catalogue
  • Electronic journals, electronic books, statistics, and newspaper articles
  • Student Email (Outlook Web Access)
  • Internet
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Library Services on the Web
  • Networked Printing
  • Scanning

Wireless Access

Wireless network access and printing are available in all parts of the John & Alison Kearney Law Library, all levels of the Main Library and The Balnaves Foundation Multimedia Learning Centre. Students can use laptops/notebooks to connect to the Bond Network anywhere in both libraries. All six group study rooms in both libraries are also covered.

On Level 2 of the Main Library tables for group work have been arranged around poles providing power plugs for laptop computers. On Level 3 of the Main Library there are 18 individual study carrels with power plugs for laptops.

Express Printing Stations

Express printing stations are located in the Copying and Printing Room on Level 2 of the Main Library as well as Level 2 of the Law Library. For colour printing, an express station is provided on Level 2 of the Main Library near the reserve section.

Scanning

A colour scanner is available on the Mezzanine Level of the Main Library. This service is free.

Internet Access Points

Internet access points have been provided for current Bond University Students to access the internet via a laptop computer. Internet access points can be found on Level 2 of the Main Library and Level 2 of the Law Library.

Additional computers are available in the Computer Labs. These Laboratories are open 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
