‘GET THE LIFE YOU WANT’ during National Career Development Week
27 May, 2008
Bond University’s Career Development Centre is throwing open its doors to the public, hosting a day of free career workshops for the local community.
The University will host three community career workshops on June 14, to coincide with National Career Development Week.
To be held from 10am – 3pm at Bond University’s Cerum Theatre, the workshops will cover career mapping, writing a winning application and tips for a successful interview. A complementary barbeque lunch will also be provided.
Bond University’s Employment Services Specialist Kirsty Mitchell says the workshops are designed to help people who are thinking of a career change or are stuck in a career rut and are looking for some professional advice.
“The workshops are designed to be very interactive, so people completing the workshop will walk away with some tangible outcomes and a toolkit to continue the process,” Ms Mitchell said.

| 11.15 – 11.30am | Morning Tea |
| 11.30 – 12.45pm | Applications that Wow! |
