One Goal, One Community: Moving beyond bullying and empowering for lifeWednesday, March 30 2011, saw the first international "One Goal, One Community: Moving beyond bullying and empowering for life" day.
In less than one year, our Bond University "One Goal, One Community" program has grown to include 25 schools on two continents. We now have "One Goal" partnerships with primary and secondary schools in six Australian states (including the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia) as well as two regions of the United States (Boston, Massachusetts and Tyler, Texas). To date, over 33,000 people have made commitments to engage in positive anti-bullying behaviours as a result of this program and that number will grow to 50,000+ by the end of this semester.
All students and staff were encouraged to stand together in support of this program by wearing their "One Goal" wristbands. Our Partners April 2010
