Project Summary
In January 2007, Delfin Lend Lease and Translink commissioned the School of Sustainable Development research team to study the public transport needs for the Varsity Lakes area. The sample for the study comprised 4 primary travel generators within Varsity Lakes: education, business, visitors and the general community. The themes explored included:
The mode of travel and travel patterns of each group
Public and private transport needs and levels of satisfaction with public transport service quality
The extent to which there are significant differences in public transport needs and perceptions of public transport service quality between the different groups of users.
