This year has been a year of progress and laying foundations for achievement in future years. The performance of the Faculty of Law in research in 2011 has continued the steady improvement witnessed over the past few years. Faculty members in 2011 have been involved in the lodgement of a number of ARC grants and research consultancy. The faculty is proud to have been successful in obtaining an ARC Linkage Grant, awarded in 2011 spearheaded by Patrick Keyzer with Joachim Dietrich, and a large consultancy with the Carbon Market Institute, headed by Damien Lockie, in conjunction with others, through the Centre for Law, Governance and Public Policy. The Faculty of Law has one University Research Centre, which under the direction of Professor Patrick Keyzer, has been particularly active in the lodgement of research grants, the holding of workshops and conferences involving substantial interdisciplinary research, and collaborations with other universities nationally and internationally: Three Law Faculty centres have also been established and are involved in promoting research projects, workshops and conferences and publishing refereed journals involving numerous faculty members as well as external researchers:
