Every society will deem some groups of people to be dangerous, and take steps for their preventive detention or supervision in the community. This conference will bring together the world’s leading experts on preventive detention to develop new responses to this challenge.

This workshop is for clinicians and laboratory staff who are interested in how to improve their, and others, usage and interpretation of diagnostic tests. It will be of particular interest to those whose work is largely in diagnostics, such as those working in laboratory medicine and radiology or for those where diagnostic tests are used as part of the decision making for starting or continuing treatment.
