Bond University has satisfied the registration requirements of Section 52 of the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001 and is registered for the use of animals for scientific purposes. Bond University seeks ethical approval for animal research for scientific purposes from an external body. Prior to any research being conducted on animals for scientific purposes , researchers must first liaise with the Ethics Manager in the Office of Research Services who will advise on the necessary steps and processes required to complete an animal ethics application.
