Bond’s Family Business Researchers Prepare for National and International Conference Circuit
23 March 2011
The Faculty of Business family business researcher community have now confirmed involvement in multiple national and international research conferences in 2011. A total of 15 research papers authored by 10 faculty members will be presented at 1 national and 4 international conferences on a variety of topics contextualised in the family-owned business space. This outstanding result reflects a commitment by faculty (ranging from Doctoral candidates through to established scholars) to focus their research lenses on the challenges facing owners and leaders of what is the most dominant form of business globally. It also reinforces Bond University’s international reputation, through the Australian Centre for Family Business (ACFB), for research and pedagogy in this arena. Importantly, ACFB-linked scholars have a proud tradition of turning conference papers into publications in leading journals and this 2011 collection of conference papers is an indicator that a sway of quality publications are in the pipeline.
