A panel of leading experts will engage in a ‘Q&A-style’ debate on what our city will be like in 2050, including exploring issues such as sustainable urbanization, development versus conservation, image and identity, climate change impacts and growth of key local industries such as tourism. Well after the Commonwealth Games is over, what is the legacy that we are creating and is it the legacy we desire?
The panel comprises:

- Professor Philip Follent (Head, Soheil Abedian School of Architecture)
- Professor Shelley Burgin (Head, Mirvac School of Sustainable Development)
- Professor Tor Hundloe (Professor of Environmental Science)
- A/Professor Michael Raybould (Head of Department, Hotel, Resort and Tourism Management).
