Evidence Based Practice 1 day workshop (Journalists)

Free workshop with world leaders in healthcare

Bond University is offering a small number of Australian journalists the chance to learn more about the “evidence based” approach within medicine, and pick up story ideas from internationally respected healthcare academics, including Professor Paul Glasziou, Professor Chris Del Mar and Associate Professor Tammy Hoffman.
A one-day workshop on Thursday May 2 on the Gold Coast, will help journalists see through the statistical tricks often used in press releases, help them critically examine complex journal articles, and learn quick and easy ways to find good quality evidence to improve their stories – as well as building valuable contacts.
A limited number of free places are currently available on application, if you send a short resume and 200 words explaining why you’d like to attend.
