Massage

Most common problems presented by patrons are complaints of neck and shoulder pain and tension.

Long hours spent sitting at a desk or computer create tension in the neck and shoulder area resulting in stiffness and pain in the upper back, shoulders and neck, headaches, fatigue and loss of mental clarity and focus. They are mainly caused by bad postural habits, sitting in a fixed position for long periods and visual stress.

If you are suffering from any of these problems, relief is at hand. Massage therapy is greatly beneficial and can reduce these symptoms by relaxing the tension in the muscles, stimulating the flow of blood through the muscles, breaking down and eliminating toxins, enhancing oxygenation of the brain and relaxing the nervous system and mind.

To book a massage please phone BUIS reception on 5595 4100.

  3. Help with proper alignment of muscle fibres.

Sports Massage

Pre-Event - This type of massage acts as a passive warm-up specific to the muscles about to be used in the sport. The massage warms the muscles improving the flexibility and circulation to the muscles.
