Residence Network Access
Students may bring their own personal computer to use in their room in the student residences. All rooms in residence are fitted with a network outlet that can be used to connect to the internet.
What do I need?
- Bond University network account
- PC/Laptop
- Network adapter
- Network cable (Cat5e or Cat6)
Connecting to the Network
- Connect your computer to the network port with your network cable and start your computer
- Open your web browser (eg. Internet Explorer) and type in any web address
- Logon using:
User name = Network Username
Password = Network Password
Domain = Student
If you experience difficulties connecting to the network please contact the IT Service Desk
To assist the IT Service Desk staff in resolving any issues, please check the following:
- PC/Laptop is up-to-date with latest service and security patches
- Has an up-to-date and valid virus protection program running
- Your web browser is functioning correctly
- When reporting faults, please give room and building location details, name and phone number so an appointment can be made to access your room.
