Residence Network Access

Students may bring their own personal computer to use in their room in the student residences. All rooms in residence are fitted with a network outlet that can be used to connect to the internet. 

What do I need?

  • Bond University network account
  • PC/Laptop
  • Network adapter
  • Network cable (Cat5e or Cat6)

Connecting to the Network

  1. Connect your computer to the network port with your network cable and start your computer
  2. Open your web browser (eg. Internet Explorer) and type in any web address
  3. Logon using:

User name = Network Username

Password = Network Password

Domain = Student

 


If you experience difficulties connecting to the network please contact the IT Service Desk


To assist the IT Service Desk staff in resolving any issues, please check the following:

  • PC/Laptop is up-to-date with latest service and security patches
  • Has an up-to-date and valid virus protection program running
  • Your web browser is functioning correctly
  • When reporting faults, please give room and building location details, name and phone number so an appointment can be made to access your room.
