New Students

Getting Started on Campus

Once you are enrolled in at least one subject, you will automatically be provided with a student network account. This account gives you a university email address and access to a variety of campus computing facilities and services. There can be a delay of up to 1/2 hour between finishing the enrolment process and the account creation.

For your initial login please:

  1. Either login on any computer on-campus, or off-campus navigate to http://apps.bond.edu.au/student-initial-login
  2. Login details: Username: student number (as supplied by Bond University); Temporary Password: Date of Birth (format DDMMYYYY)
  3. Indicate you agree to the Acceptable Use Agreement
  4. Select a new password

Once you have selected your permanent password, you will be able to access the computers on campus, your email account, library resources, Off Campus Connect, printing and other network resources.

Email

To access your Webmail account:

  1. Open Internet Explorer and go to: https://webmail.bond.edu.au (Please note: This address can be used on and off campus
  2. If you get a Security Alert, accept the Security Certificate by clicking 'Yes'
  3. Logon to Webmail using your domain name\username and password eg. Students\1234567 or Staff\username
  4. In the Security section, select 'Private Computer'
  5. Click on 'Log On'

Your university webmail account is used for all official Bond University communications. Please make sure you check it on a regular basis.
