Although your ideas are basically the most important thing in an essay; the presentation is also important. Think of a job interview – the person’s ability and character should be the most important thing, but if not presented well, they may not get the job. The same with a paper; if not presented well, it may not get as high a mark. We’ve looked at layout and cohesion to achieve a good delivery, and now, let’s have a quick look at some of the most common grammatical mistakes made by students.
