Punctuation

For any areas of punctuation where several possibilities are available and correct, a good rule is to look at what your lecturer/teacher has written during the course. This applies to hyphenated or non-hyphenated words as well as spelling conventions and abbreviations. The use of the full stop (period) in abbreviations is disappearing, as is punctuation in addresses and salutations in business letters.
