ID Cards

Your Student ID Card displays your photo and your student number. It is proof of your enrolment.

You must have it to:

  • Sit for an examination (without photo ID you cannot sit for your exams )
  • After hours access to computing labs
  • Borrow books from the University's libraries
  • Printing and Photocopying
  • Access to University Facilities

Student ID Cards can be obtained in person from Student Administration.

The Office of Student Administration is located in the Student Precint level1. [Guide - location 4]

New Students

New students are required to apply for a Student Identification Card.

You should be fully enrolled in your subjects before you receive a Student ID Card. Also, please complete a New Student Survey online, http://www.bond.edu.au/academic/survey/newstudent.asp. You may obtain your ID card on Wednesday, 10.00am – 4:00pm, of Bond Week in the Library. At other times, ID cards will be issued from Student Administration, level 1, Student Court.

 

Resuming or Continuing Students

If you have a current student ID card (check the Expiry Date) you do not need to collect another one.


Replacement of Lost or Damaged Cards

Students are provided with one Student ID Card during the course of their degree free of charge.

There are two charges depending on whether the card is damaged or is being completely replaced (missing).

A replacement card can be obtained through the Office of Student Administration. A fee of $35.00 AUD to replace a student card or $25.00 for a damaged card applies. Before requesting a replacement card check to see if the card has been handed in to Security, the Library, the Gymnasium or the Office of Student Administration.

Residential Students

It is essential for Residential students to obtain a Student ID Card.

Your Student ID Card needs to be activated for copying and printing. This will normally occur when your Student ID Card is issued to you.

Access to University Facilities

In some student residences students will need an ID Card to access the building and/or their room.
