Graduation Forms

If you are graduating, you MUST complete a ‘Graduand Details’ and 'Academic Dress Hire' form . You must also pay the academic dress hire charge when you lodge the form. Forms and payment must be received by Student Administration no later than Friday, Week 10 (18 July 2008).

Academic Dress Hire

The cost of hiring academic dress is $90 refer to Academic Dress hire form

A security deposit of $250 is payable on Robing Day, either by credit card or cash only.
This is refunded once you return your academic dress immediately after the graduation ceremony.

Robing Day Friday, 26 Sep 2008

  • Academic dress must be collected on Friday, 26 Sep 2008 between 9.00am and 4.00pm from the Robing Room located next to Don's Tavern, Student Court.
  • The Robing Room will NOT be open for collection of gowns on graduation day.
  • You must return your gown immediately following the ceremony to the Robing Room.
  • Photos, Plaques & Framing
  • A professional photographer, framing service, laser plaques and other services will be available on robing day and graduation day.

Ceremony Arrangements

  • All students must report to the tiled verandah at the back of Don’s Tavern (opposite side of the building to Juicy Bits) one hour PRIOR to the start of the ceremony.
  • Graduands who do not arrive on time will not be permitted to join the ceremony.
  • Graduands will be assembled in alphabetical order by family name and will then be seated in the Hall.
  • Students should read the relevant page in the “Protocols for Graduation ” document for a detailed explanation of the ceremony procedures.
  • The University will host refreshments for graduates, their families and friends following the ceremony, in Don's Tavern.

Tickets

  • A maximum of three guest tickets (Graduands do not require a ticket) will be issued when you collect your gown on Robing Day.
  • If additional tickets become available, they may be collected only on Robing Day, Friday, 26 Sep 2008.
  • Guests may enter the Hall 45 minutes before the ceremony and should be seated 15 minutes before.

Outstanding matters

  • All accounts must be finalised and all library books returned by Wed, 24 Sep 2008.
  • If you have any outstanding fees or library books after this date, you will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony or receive your Testamur.
