| 1989 | Commenced Bachelor of Law at the age of 17 years of age. |

| 1990 | After completing only two semesters, obtained articles of clerkship with national legal firm, Barker Gosling, through Bond's extensive networks. |
| 1992 | Graduated just prior to his 20th birthday in the inaugural class of Bond law graduates. Commenced articles of clerkship with Barker Gosling (now Dibbs Abbot Stillman Group), in Brisbane. |
| 1993 | At 21, became one of the youngest lawyers ever to be admitted as a solicitor of the Queensland Supreme Court; set goal to be Senior Associate at age 25. |
| 1997 | Appointed Senior Associate at the age of 25. |
| 2002 | Appointed Partner at Dibbs Barker Gosling (now Dibbs Abbot Stillman Group) at age 30. Peter says that Bond's fast-tracked degree program enabled him to achieve his goal by placing him a full year ahead of colleagues from other universities. |
| 2005 | Now widely acknowledged as an expert in the area of Administrative law with a particular emphasis on Commonwealth Workers' Compensation. |
