Masters Scholarships

1. The Faculty of Law wishes to encourage its high-achieving Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Juris Doctor (JD) graduates to complete a Master of Laws coursework degree at Bond.

2. Scholarships may be awarded to suitable candidates who are eligible for admission to a Masters of Law based on the class of Honours achieved in their LLB or JD as follows:

2A or 2B Honours
10%

4. The Faculty of Law may award scholarships to students who do not meet the above criteria if they have demonstrated an aptitude for research in relevant compulsory and/or elective law subjects.

5. Students must satisfy the following conditions in order to maintain their scholarship:

• a mark average of at least 65% in each semester of enrolment;
• maintain a pattern of enrolment which enables completion of the Masters degree within four years of commencement.

6. Students who receive a scholarship must achieve outstanding grades in their LLM studies if they wish to qualify for a higher research degree scholarship.

7. This scholarship policy does not apply to the Doctor of Legal Science (SJD) or LLM (Research).
