Homestay per week: 18+ AUD$250 (effective from 1 January 2013 this rate will be $255) 16 to 17 years of age AUD$270 (effective from 1 January 2013 this rate will be $280) Includes two meals per day Monday to Friday and three meals per day at weekends. Room Only – (Private room, no meals) AUD$175 (effective from 1 January 2013 this rate will be $180) Four weeks accommodation fees payable to BUELI prior to service being requested. Payment of accommodation fees after the initial 4 weeks are payable to Australian Homestay Network. Students cannot enter Homestay more than 7 days before course commencement. *For specific dietary needs, eg: Vegan, Organic, Halal, Gluten free etc. an additional $50 per week will be charged. Other FeesAccommodation Placement Fee AUD$260 Airport transfers are AUD$40 one way from either the Brisbane or Coolangatta airports. The Student Activities Fee is AUD$5 per week and covers access to all of the Bond University facilities including; computers, library, gymnasium, swimming pool and all sporting equipment (during business hours). Every Wednesday during the semester it covers a BBQ Lunch for all BUELI students on the main Bond University Campus. The Activities Fee is compulsory and must be paid by all students at BUELI.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)To obtain a student visa you must, under Australian Government legislation, purchase basic health cover. Application form and prices can be found on the Allianz Global Assistance OSHC website: www.oshcallianzassistance.com.au Payment can be made by credit card directly to Allianz Global Assistance OSHC via the Internet or phone.
