Global Connections
International Perspective
Bond’s Australian Studies major aims to provide a broad understanding of the natural, social and political development of Australia and our relationships with the international community.
Globally Experienced Academics
Our Australian Studies professors are renowned for their work, both in the classroom and out in the field, including academics who have worked extensively with Aboriginal communities and on headline-making archaeological discoveries of world significance.
Worldwide Alumni Network
As a Bond graduate, you’ll become an instant member of our active alumni network, including fellow Bondies now working for major corporations and government agencies throughout Australia and in many different countries – all of whom are more than willing to open doors for graduates from their alma mater.
Multicultural Learning Environment
Bond’s multicultural student community is a true reflection of Australia’s multicultural society. Studying in small, personalised classes with students and teachers hailing from more than 80 different countries gives you a unique opportunity to build a global network of friends and future industry contacts from all over the world.
International Exchange Opportunities
For overseas students wishing to study abroad for a semester, our Australian Studies subjects complement the experience of living in another country by offering insight into our history and culture. Alternatively, we offer four and six-week Australian Experience study tours that combine university subjects with travel to some of Australia’s most iconic destinations.
Australian students can also complement their Australian Studies major with overseas study, through our International Exchange Program whereby eligible students can apply to study for a semester at 59 leading universities in 19 countries.
